Great things from small beginnings

So here I am, ready to trash the internet with even more information it certainly could live without. – After all, like most of the others I’m just another fish in a large pond. A faint echo in the passing time. – Nonetheless I take it upon myself to do exactly that. Who am I and what’s my motivation though?

To be quite honest this is not my first appearance on the web. I’ve been here and I’ve been there. Nothing fancy in particular though. As of the time of this writing, I am a (B.Sc.) Computer Science student at the Technical University Munich (TUM). Off duty I develop software for a living.

My greatest burden is my constant strive for perfection in everything I love to do, despite the fact that especially in my area of studies perfection is a word almost frowned upon. In a world where ‘almost’ is ‘good enough’ and ’80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes’(1) I want to make a difference. Though, I realize it is not gonna be easy seeing as we live in a world where the number 18.4 isn’t precisely depicted inside of our computer.(2) But all is well as long as it’s good enough, right? – Correct, because not even I am stupid enough to disregard the advantages of an occasional compromise.

Nonetheless what you can come to expect in near future are various things that happen to catch my interest. They can be of technological, political, satirical, artistic or even spiritual sort. I may also have an occasional publication that I decide to share with the world.

Stick around or don’t. It’s your choice and you have many.
